Week 10 of the Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League saw another enjoyable evening of action at WV Active Aldersley, with teams continuing to compete in a positive and welcoming environment.
In Division 1, Avengers took on Winging It in an entertaining fixture. Both teams demonstrated strong teamwork and commitment throughout the match, creating a competitive contest played in excellent spirits.
Dancing with Wolves then faced Wednesday Warriors. Both sides worked hard across the court, displaying determination and resilience throughout an enjoyable encounter that reflected the supportive atmosphere of the league.
GoalDiggers and Violet Vixens followed with another competitive fixture. Both teams showed good organisation and teamwork, contributing to an entertaining game and maintaining the high standard of netball on display throughout the evening.
The final Division 1 match saw Pattingham Diamonds take on ONYX. Both teams approached the game with energy and enthusiasm, producing a closely contested encounter that highlighted the competitive nature of the division.
In Division 2, Go Net It faced Wildcats in a well-fought contest. Both teams demonstrated commitment and teamwork throughout, contributing to another enjoyable match.
Hoop For The Best then took on Take A Shot, with both sides displaying strong effort and determination across the court. The match was played in excellent spirits and showcased the positive environment of the league.
Hoop Hustlers and Shoot For It produced another competitive fixture, with both teams working hard throughout and demonstrating great teamwork and sportsmanship.
The final match of the evening saw Hoops I Did It Again take on Rebounders. Both teams battled hard throughout the contest, providing an entertaining conclusion to another successful week of netball.
This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Yvette Ashmore from Rebounders. Yvette delivered an excellent performance, demonstrating great movement, commitment, and enthusiasm throughout the evening. Her contribution was recognised by teammates and opponents alike, making her a deserving recipient of the award.
With Week 10 complete, teams will now look ahead to the next round of fixtures as the season continues. The league remains a fantastic opportunity for players to stay active, improve their skills, and enjoy competitive netball in a welcoming and supportive environment.
