Become an Umpire

We are always on the lookout for Umpires to join our ever growing team. If you are interested in umpiring, the chances are, wherever you live we have a venue that operates close by.

We accept applications from people who have varying experience, whether you have played the game for years or you are a qualified umpire, we welcome everyone. Did you also know that if you have completed your into officiating course and want to work towards your C award we will even pay for your course! Yes, really, all you need to do is complete a minimum of 8 sessions with us and you have qualified to take us up on the offer. We even reward current umpires via our "refer a friend" scheme, where you can earn £50 by getting your friends on board.

We pay between £12.50 to £15 per hour dependent on a number of factors which we negotiate individually with you, your fees are automatically paid weekly in to your selected bank account. Taking away the hassle of collecting cash from players for your services. Team fees are also paid online so there is no banking of any kind that you need to be involved in, leaving you to concentrate solely on the game in hand. We have a deserved reputation for the strongest disciplinary structure of Social organised Netball.

Our umpires are always backed up by us, something which we take great pride in. We ensure that you are provided with clothing for the sessions you will complete, consisting of a hooded top and t-shirt which comes delivered directly to you in one of our lovely tote bags. Along with this, if you become one of our Match Night Supervisors we also provide you with a fully stocked kit bag of branded balls, branded bibs, a pump and even earring tape and a few more nice little things included!

We do not tolerate rude or unfriendly behaviour in any way from any player or team. We want you to come to umpire with us at one of our leagues, enjoy your experience and look forward to it each week. You will receive regular communication from a designated office contact for your league, who will call and speak to you each week after the league has taken place to discuss any issues or thoughts that you may have.
