The Telford Sunday Netball league continued yesterday, with high-intensity matches marking the third week of the season. The competition took place across two divisions, the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Netball Numpties showed excellent tenacity, defeating Wrecking Ballers 15-10 in a nail-biting showdown. The victory was a testament to Numpties' discipline, teamwork, and sheer determination.

Despite the result, Debbie Ladkin of the Wrecking Ballers was the star of the Premier League matches. Ladkin's stellar performance earned her the coveted "Most Valued Player" title for the week. Her agility, swift moves, and sharpshoot ability were critical to her team, proving that sometimes, individual brilliance can shine even in the face of defeat.

Meanwhile, Pitch Perfect claimed a 20-9 victory over Glitterballs, setting the stage for an exciting season.

In Division 1, the matches were equally intense. Hoopdoggz eked out a victory against Chaos Crew in a thrilling 7-6 match that kept spectators on edge until the very end. In another game, Spice Goals edged out Hoops I Did It Again 12-10 in a hard-fought contest. The final match of the division saw Telford Tricksters triumph over Hot Shots with a score of 11-8.

This week’s action-packed games has set the stage for an intriguing next round of the Telford Sunday Netball League. With the top scorers in each division holding firm, the competition is heating up and has everyone eagerly waiting for the next matchday.
