Birmingham Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 5 of the Birmingham Tuesday social netball season took place at Waseley Hills High School, with teams returning for another evening of netball. Players of different experience levels came together for a busy night of games, with plenty of effort, teamwork and encouragement throughout the evening.

The first match saw Waseley Wizards take on Goals Aloud. Goals Aloud finished with a 12-7 win after a good game between the two teams. Both sides worked hard throughout, with Waseley Wizards continuing to compete and Goals Aloud making the most of their opportunities.

Next up were Goals Of Glory and the Stormers. Goals Of Glory came away with a 12-9 win in another competitive game. Both teams showed good teamwork and effort throughout the match, with plenty of encouragement between players.

The third game saw Goal Diggers face Hoop Troops. Goal Diggers finished with a 23-11 win after a strong performance. Hoop Troops continued to work hard throughout the game, while Goal Diggers took their opportunities and maintained their lead.

The final match of the evening saw Spice Goals play Pocket Rockets. Pocket Rockets finished with an 18-12 win in another enjoyable game. Both teams put in plenty of effort and worked well together, making for a good finish to the evening.

This week's Most Valued Player was Rachel Robbins from Waseley Wizards. Rachel showed plenty of energy and movement around the court and made a positive contribution to her team. Her attitude and effort stood out during the evening and earned her this week's MVP recognition.

With Week 6 coming up, we look forward to seeing everyone back at Waseley Hills High School for another evening of social netball. The league is a great way to keep active, meet new people and continue developing your netball skills while enjoying regular games in a friendly environment.

The focus remains on playing netball in the spirit of Back to Netball, supporting teammates and opponents, and making sure everyone can enjoy their time on court.
