Play in the Birmingham Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 4 of the Birmingham Tuesday You Play Netball League at Waseley Hills High School saw another evening of social netball, with eight teams taking to the court across four fixtures. There was plenty of effort and teamwork throughout the evening, with teams continuing to enjoy their weekly games.

The first match saw Pocket Rockets take on Hoop Troops. Pocket Rockets finished with 21 goals, while Hoop Troops scored 3. Pocket Rockets created a number of opportunities and converted well throughout the game. Hoop Troops continued to work hard and compete throughout the fixture, showing good commitment despite the scoreline.

The second game was between Waseley Wizards and Goals Of Glory. Goals Of Glory finished with 13 goals to Waseley Wizards' 8. Both teams worked hard across the court, with some good movement and passing throughout the game. Goals Of Glory were able to maintain their advantage and finish with the win.

The third fixture saw Goal Diggers face Goals Aloud. Goals Aloud finished with 10 goals, while Goal Diggers scored 3. Both teams continued to put in plenty of effort, with players working together in attack and defence and looking to create scoring opportunities.

The final game of the evening was between Spice Goals and Stormers. Spice Goals finished with 12 goals to Stormers' 6. Both teams showed good teamwork and commitment, with the players continuing to work hard throughout the match. Spice Goals were able to build their lead and secure the result.

This week's Most Valued Player was Jasmine Smith from Hoop Troops. Jasmine put in a strong performance, showing good movement around the court and making a positive contribution to her team. Her effort and teamwork were recognised with this week's MVP award. Well done, Jasmine!

The Birmingham Tuesday league is a Back to Netball league, providing players with the opportunity to enjoy regular netball in a friendly and welcoming environment. Whether players are returning after time away or have less experience, the league is a chance to stay active, develop skills, build confidence and enjoy playing with others.
