Play in the Birmingham Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 3 of the social netball season at Waseley Hills High School saw another good evening of netball, with teams taking to the court for their latest fixtures. There was plenty of competitive play throughout the evening, with teams working hard and continuing to build their combinations as the season progresses.

The opening match saw Pocket Rockets take on Goals Aloud. Pocket Rockets had a strong game and finished with a 24-1 victory. Goals Aloud continued to work hard throughout the match and kept playing until the final whistle.

The second game saw Hoop Troops face Stormers. Stormers came away with the win, finishing the game 17-9. Both teams put in a good effort, with plenty of attacking and defensive play across the court.

Waseley Wizards then took on Goal Diggers. The Wizards had a strong performance and finished with a 15-7 victory. Both teams worked hard throughout the game, with some good passing and movement from end to end.

The final match of the evening saw Spice Goals play Goals Of Glory. Spice Goals finished with a 20-13 win after another competitive game between the two teams. Both sides continued to push throughout the fixture and made the most of their scoring opportunities.

A special mention goes to Rebecca Widnall from Goal Diggers, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Rebecca put in a strong performance and made a valuable contribution to her team throughout the game.

It was another successful week for the Birmingham Tuesday You Play Netball League, with teams continuing to enjoy regular fixtures and the opportunity to play against different opponents. As a Back to Netball league, the focus is on providing a friendly and enjoyable environment for players to get back on court, stay active and enjoy playing netball.

Week 4 is up next, with all teams looking forward to another evening of netball at Waseley Hills High School.
