In the thrilling world of Netball, last night's Birmingham Tuesday league was no exception to the excitement and fervor of the sport. As we close in on the final third of the season, the tension is palpable in the League, with matches displaying an impressive level of skill and competitive spirit.
The Goal Diggers and Goals Aloud teams were at loggerheads, with the former emerging victorious by a slender margin of 13-9. In a brilliant display, Goals Of Glory took on Waseley Wizards winning by a scoreline of 17-7.
The Stormers had a thunderous victory against Hoop There It Is!, with a 17-5 win, while Spice Goals added some extra flavor to their season by outplaying Hoop Troops 17-6. The match between Sky Shooters and Long Shots was a nail-biter, with Long Shots managing to clinch the win with a 15-13 scoreline. Finally, Purple Thunder managed to edge past Nets And The City with a tight 13-10 victory.
Highlighting individual performances, the most valued player for the week was Sophie Loynes from Sky Shooters. Despite their team's narrow defeat, Sophie's exceptional performance was a beacon of hope, demonstrating that the Sky Shooters are a force to be reckoned with.
With just two weeks remaining in this season the adrenaline is high, and the stakes are higher, as we eagerly anticipate the culmination of an exciting season.
