Birmingham Tuesday Netball League 20th May

In the high stakes world of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League, the League's week 11 was nothing short of spectacular, bringing the regular season to an exhilarating conclusion. The evening was filled with grit, determination, and outstanding plays that had spectators on the edge of their seats.

The night began with a thrilling match between Purple Thunder and Goal Diggers. The game was an intense back-and-forth battle that ended on a knife's edge, with Purple Thunder narrowly clinching victory by a single point, 11-10.

Nets And The City showed their dominance on the court, outscoring Sky Shooters by a wide margin, 19-6. The Long Shots, however, couldn't withstand the onslaught from the Spice Goals, who stormed to a 24-8 victory.

The energy didn't drop as Stormers brought the thunder against Hoop Troops, finishing strong at 17-9. Hoop There It Is! showcased their scoring prowess in a commanding 20-6 win over Waseley Wizards. Goals Of Glory also brought their A-game, outscoring Goals Aloud 20-5.

While each match had its highlights, one player stood out above the rest. Jasmine Astley-Allen from Hoop Troops was named the week's Most Valued Player. Her spectacular performance and invaluable contributions to her team were instrumental in their success this week.

The final standings for the season saw the Spice Goals reign supreme in the League. With a total of 20 points and 10 wins to their name, they proved to be the team to beat.

As we bid goodbye to another thrilling season, we celebrate the triumphs, the teamwork, and the talent displayed on the court. The Birmingham Tuesday Netball League promises to return with more exciting matches and extraordinary plays in the coming season starting next week on the 27th May.

Congratulations to all the teams for their phenomenal effort and sportsmanship. Until next season, keep shooting for those goals!
