Swadlincote Wednesday Netball season has reached its mid-way point and week 9 was nothing short of exhilarating, demonstrating the high level of talent on display in the league.
The battle for supremacy was fierce. The clash between Hoopsie Daisy and Block and Shot ended in a narrow victory for the latter, who outscored their opponents 9-7.
In another intense encounter, Pink Ladies took on Hoops I Did It Again. Despite the Pink Ladies' spirited performance, they were outdone by their opponents who claimed a 12-8 victory. The match showcased the exceptional skill and teamwork of both squads.
But the biggest triumph of the night belonged to Shooting Stars, who put up a remarkable performance, beating the Wildcats with a resounding 24-8 victory. This was the League's highest scoring match of the night!
The most valued player of the week was Cerys Lewis from Wildcats. Despite her team's loss, Lewis stood out with her incredible athleticism and precision on the court. Her impressive performance won her the well-deserved title.
