Play in the Swadlincote Wednesday You Play Netball league

Sports lovers of all experience levels gathered for an enjoyable evening of social netball at The Pingle Academy, marking the tenth week of the season. The atmosphere was welcoming, buzzing with friendly competition and laughter. It was a testament to the community spirit of the evening as players not only played for the love of the game but also relished the chance to meet new people and improve their skills.

The first match of the evening saw the Block And Shot team finishing the game with a score of 12-10 over Get The Rebound. The energy on the court was palpable, with both teams showing admirable commitment and sportsmanship. The game was played in great spirit, with both teams showcasing excellent teamwork and providing an enjoyable spectacle for all spectators.

Next, Nets Go and Wildcats took to the court, with Wildcats ending the match with a 12-7 score. Despite the score, the game was evenly balanced, showing the positive energy from both teams. This match was a true display of friendly competition and camaraderie at its finest.

Lastly, Hoops I Did It Again took on the Pink Stars, with a final score of 15-8. Both teams demonstrated an exceptional level of sportsmanship and commitment. It was a pleasure to watch and capture the essence of social netball.

Drawing special attention this week was Katie Dawes from Pink Stars. Katie's enthusiasm and movement around the court were noted by teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the game did not go unnoticed, earning her the title of Most Valued Player of the week.

As the final week of the season comes to a close, we're looking forward to Week 11 and another evening of friendly social netball at The Pingle Academy. This is an opportunity to keep active, meet new people, and develop netball skills in a supportive and fun environment.
