Last Wednesday, The Pingle Academy was lit up with the energy and enthusiasm of Week 8 of our social netball season. The welcoming atmosphere resonated within the walls of the academy as players of varied experience levels came together to revel in an evening of exhilarating netball. The passion for the sport was palpable, the camaraderie infectious, and the friendly competition heartwarming.
In the Premier League group, the Wildcats and Hoops I Did It Again engaged in an exciting match. Wildcats finished the game with a score of 10-7. The game was marked by commendable teamwork and sportsmanship from both sides, with players showcasing their commitment and positive energy. Each point was celebrated, each pass appreciated, making it an enjoyable game played in great spirit.
Meanwhile, the Block And Shot and Nets Go match was equally captivating. The game ended with Block And Shot scoring 14, while Nets Go scored a respectable 10. The match was filled with moments of outstanding cooperation, dedication, and fair play, which made it an enjoyable spectacle for all present.
The Pink Stars and Get The Rebound match also did not disappoint. Get The Rebound finished the game with an impressive score of 12-2. However, the score was secondary to the sheer enjoyment, energy, and camaraderie both teams displayed throughout the game.
A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the week, Ali Teasdale from Block And Shot. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and her movement around the court was impressive. Her positive contribution did not go unnoticed and was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
