The Pingle Academy was filled with a warm, welcoming atmosphere last week as Week 6 of the social netball season kicked off. Players of all experience levels came together for a memorable evening of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and friendly competition. The joy of the game was palpable, with smiles and laughter echoing through the netball court.
In the first game of the evening, Pink Stars faced off against Wildcats. Showcasing teamwork and commitment, the Wildcats finished the game with a score of 18-9. Despite the score difference, the Pink Stars radiated positive energy throughout the game, with both teams playing in a great spirit.
Next, Nets Go and Get The Rebound took to the court. Demonstrating a commendable spirit of unity and sportsmanship, Get The Rebound finished the match with a score of 23-8. Nets Go, though trailing, kept the court lively with their enthusiasm and passion for the game.
In the final match of the night, Hoops I Did It Again and Block And Shot shared an enjoyable game. A testament to their hard work and dedication, Block And Shot finished the game with a close score of 11-9. Hoops I Did It Again, on the other hand, kept the energy high with their positive attitudes and robust teamwork.
Of special note was the Most Valued Player of the week, Jenny Gallon from Nets Go. Jenny's enthusiasm and movement around the court were admired by teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the game did not go unnoticed, making her a well-deserved recipient of this week's recognition.
