The Pingle Academy was buzzing with excitement as it marked the commencement of Week 1 of the much-awaited social netball season. Players ranging from seasoned veterans to enthusiastic newcomers gathered to participate, turning the evening into a delightful melting pot of diverse experiences. The overarching sentiment was camaraderie, a testament to the welcoming environment fostered by the club.

In the Premier League group, the first match was a friendly face-off between Block And Shot and Hoops I Did It Again. The game was a delightful spectacle of teamwork and sportsmanship, with each team demonstrating admirable commitment. Block And Shot finished the game with a score of 10, a testament to their diligence and coordination. Meanwhile, Hoops I Did It Again ended on 7, equally showcasing their positive energy and zeal. The match was a true embodiment of the spirit of social netball, enjoyable and full of respect for the game and each other.

A special mention must be made of Jenny Gallon from Nets Go, who was named the Most Valued Player this week. Her enthusiasm resonated across the court, her lightning-fast movement inspiring both her teammates and opponents. Her significant and positive contribution was evident in every game she participated in, making her a deserving recipient of the recognition.
