Another enjoyable evening of social netball took place this week in the Swadlincote Wednesday You Play Netball League, with players coming together to enjoy a fun, friendly and active session on court.
The focus of the evening was, as always, on enjoying the game, building confidence, staying active and spending time with teammates and friends. It was fantastic to see so much encouragement, laughter and positivity throughout the session, creating a welcoming environment for everyone involved.
Pink Stars and Block And Shot got the evening underway with an entertaining game, with both teams showing great teamwork and enthusiasm. The match was played in excellent spirit, with players supporting one another and enjoying every moment on court.
A special congratulations goes to Maggie Roy of Block And Shot, who was named Player of the Session. Maggie's positive attitude, enthusiasm and contribution throughout the evening perfectly reflected the values of social netball and made her a deserving recipient of the award.
Wildcats and Hoopsie Daisy also enjoyed a fantastic game, demonstrating great teamwork and sportsmanship throughout. It was wonderful to see players encouraging one another and celebrating the successes of teammates.
Elsewhere, Hoops I Did It Again and Get The Rebound brought plenty of energy and enthusiasm to the court, creating another enjoyable match full of smiles, effort and great team spirit.
The real success of the evening wasn't measured by results, but by the sense of community, friendship and enjoyment shared by everyone involved. Social netball continues to provide a fantastic opportunity for players of all abilities to get active, improve their skills and reconnect with the game in a supportive environment.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it another brilliant evening of netball. We look forward to seeing you all back on court next week for more fun, fitness and friendship!
