Play in the Swadlincote Wednesday You Play Netball League
The new season got off to a fantastic start in Swadlincote on Wednesday night, with plenty of great teamwork, energy, and competitive netball on show across the league.
Wildcats and Block and Shot opened the season with a lively contest, with both teams battling hard and showing great determination throughout the game. Hoops I Did It Again also made an impressive start to their campaign with a confident performance against Pink Stars, while Hoopsie Daisy brought plenty of attacking flair in their opening match against Nets Go.
One of the standout players of the evening was Sian Smith from Nets Go, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Sian impressed everyone with her work rate, leadership, and excellent play across the court, giving her team a strong start to the season.
The opening round of fixtures has already set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season ahead, with teams showing plenty of passion and potential from the very first whistle.
