Week 8 of the Swadlincote Wednesday netball league brought plenty of exciting moments, with teams showing great energy, teamwork, and determination on court.

The Wildcats had a strong outing, putting in a confident performance against Block And Shot. Their movement and communication really stood out, helping them secure a well-earned win and strengthening their position as one of the teams to watch.

Pink Stars also impressed, delivering a solid all-round display against Net Go. Their sharp attacking play combined with tight defence made it a great performance and a deserved victory.

One of the most entertaining games of the night came from Hoops I Did It Again and Hoopsie Daisy. It was a lively match full of effort from both sides, with Hoops I Did It Again ultimately coming out on top after a fantastic team performance.

A special mention goes to Megan Demetriadi, who was named Player of the Week. Megan showed excellent composure and skill throughout the game, making a big impact for her team and leading by example on court.

With each week, the league continues to grow more competitive and enjoyable. Teams will be looking ahead to the next round of fixtures, ready to build on their performances and keep the momentum going.
