In an exhilarating second week of the League, the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League delivered top-notch matches that had spectators on the edge of their seats.

In a gripping showdown, Block And Shot clashed with Hoops I Did It Again. Despite a spirited performance from Block And Shot, it was Hoops I Did It Again that dominated the game with an astounding 15-3 victory, setting the bar high for the rest of the season.

Elsewhere in the division, Nets Go faced off against Hoopsie Daisy. Despite the tough fight, Hoopsie Daisy triumphed over Nets Go with an impressive score of 19-6. This win establishes Hoopsie Daisy as a team to watch in the upcoming weeks, as they continue to climb the League ladder.

Probably the most thrilling game of the evening was between Get The Rebound and Pink Stars. In an intense back-and-forth, Get The Rebound emerged victorious with a score of 15-9, demonstrating their resilience and teamwork.

However, the star of the week was undoubtedly Pink Stars’ player, Katie Dawes. Despite her team's loss, Dawes' outstanding performance on the court earned her the title of the Most Valued Player of the week. Her skills and commitment on the field are an inspiration to her teammates and competitors alike.
