Swadlincote Wednesday Night Netball - Week 2

In the thrilling second week of the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League, the teams battled fiercely, serving up a spectacular show of skill and determination. 

The Shooting Stars proved unstoppable, outscoring Wildcats 16-9 in a riveting match. Meanwhile, Block And Shot struggled against Hoopsie Daisy, succumbing 12-4 in a fabulous match up. Hoopsie Daisy showcased their defensive prowess while capitalizing on their scoring opportunities, leaving Block And Shot with little room to maneuver. Elsewhere, Hoops I Did It Again put on a stellar performance against the Pink Ladies, notching up a high-scoring 18-5 victory. 

The shimmering star of the evening was Shooting Stars' own Kirsty Griffiths. Her outstanding performance on the court saw her crowned as the most valued player for the week. 

As we gear up for week 3 of this exhilarating Netball season, the stage is set for more high-octane clashes. With the teams leaving no stone unturned in their quest for glory, it is exciting to envision what the rest of the season holds.
