The opening week of the contest saw fierce competition with teams displaying impressive flair and determination.

The Wildcats clawed their way to a victory over Block And Shot. Despite a solid defensive display, Block And Shot couldn’t break through the Wildcats’ ferocious defence. Meanwhile, the game between Shooting Stars and Get The Rebound captivated with a high-scoring thriller. Get The Rebound lived up to their name, rebounding to a 21-10 victory. Rounding out the night, Pink Ladies demonstrated their prowess against Hoopsie Daisy. A solid performance led to a 15-4 victory for Pink Ladies.

Each game was a testament to the intensity and dedication of these teams. With such a thrilling start, the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League promises to deliver a compelling and nail-biting season.
