Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League 7th May

The Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League continued to impress with an electrifying week 6 showdown in the League.

Hoopsie Daisy faced a tough opponent in Get The Rebound and despite a spirited performance, fell short with a final score of 6 - 14. Hoopsie Daisy gave it their all, but Get The Rebound proved too strong, showing exceptional strategy and teamwork throughout the game.

In another gripping contest, Wildcats faced off against Shooting Stars. The match was fiercely contested with both teams demonstrating exceptional skill and determination. However, it was the Shooting Stars who came out on top with a 22 - 4 victory. Shooting Stars' impeccable defence and accurate shooting proved to be the difference in this high-stakes match.

In an exciting twist, the game between Pink Ladies and Block And Shot ended in a 4 - 4 tie. Both teams matched each other point for point, creating a thrilling spectacle that kept everyone on the edges of their seats right until the final whistle.

The standout player of the week was Rita Sawle from Wildcats. Despite her team's result, Sawle's performance on the court was second to none, showcasing her exceptional skills, dexterity, and leadership. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, earning her the title of this week's Most Valued Player.

The league continues to attract a strong following and we can't wait for the action to unfold in week 7. As the teams prepare for another week of exciting netball, the focus will be on who can come out on top in this highly competitive League.
