What a brilliant way to end the season at the Swadlincote Wednesday You Play Netball League! The final week was packed with great teamwork, exciting matches, and plenty of fantastic moments on court.
A huge congratulations to Hoops I Did It Again, who finished the season as league winners with an amazing 26 points and 13 wins. Their consistency and determination throughout the season really shone through.
They rounded off their campaign with a strong 12-7 win over Pink Stars, securing top spot in style. Another exciting match saw Hoopsie Daisy claim a hard-fought 10-6 victory against Block And Shot in a close and competitive game.
Get The Rebound also delivered an excellent performance, defeating Wildcats 19-9 with some brilliant attacking play and teamwork throughout the match.
A special shoutout goes to Emilie Ratcliff from Get The Rebound, who was named Most Valued Player of the week after an outstanding performance. Her energy, movement, and shooting were fantastic to watch and made a huge impact for her team.
This season has been full of fun, friendly competition, and great sportsmanship from every team involved. Thank you to all the players, supporters, and organisers for making Wednesday nights so enjoyable.
