Play in the Worcester Sunday You Play Netball League

Another warm and enjoyable evening of social netball transpired at The King's School for Week 9 of the season. With an atmosphere as welcoming as could be, players of all experience levels basked in the glow of camaraderie and sportsmanship. The air was filled with the essence of friendly competition, and each individual contributed to a wonderful night of netball.

The first match of the evening featured the spirited teams of Toxic Goals and On The Attack. The game ended with Toxic Goals scoring a total of 14, while On The Attack rallied with 3. Although the score-line might suggest otherwise, it was indeed a closely fought game filled with teamwork, commitment, and positive energy. Every player left the court with a cheerful smile, appreciating the friendly spirit of the game.

Next up were the energetic teams of Spice Goals and Rebounders. Spice Goals notched up a score of 10, while Rebounders followed closely with 8. The game displayed an exceptional level of sportsmanship, and despite the final score, every player was a winner in terms of enthusiasm and dedication.

The final encounter of the night saw Cobras up against the Seven Wonders, with Cobras scoring 6 and Seven Wonders achieving a commendable 18. A testament to the spirit of social netball, each team showed fantastic sportsmanship, respect, and enjoyment throughout the game.

A special mention must be made for Dominique Delord from Cobras, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Not only did Dominique display incredible movement around the court, but her enthusiasm and positive contribution were also greatly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 10, we anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. We encourage players to continue keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment. Here's to another week of Back to Netball, where the joy of the game and the spirit of sportsmanship reign supreme!
