Play in the Worcester Sunday You Play Netball League

The King's School was a hive of activity during the eighth week of the social netball season. Players of all experience levels came together to revel in an evening full of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and, of course, netball. The evening had a welcoming atmosphere that reminded everyone what community sport is all about.

The first game saw the Rebounders and Toxic Goals share the court. The game ended with Toxic Goals on 12 and the Rebounders on 11. Both teams showed fantastic commitment and positive energy, making it a joy to watch. Their teamwork was commendable, and the game was played in the true spirit of netball.

The second game involved On The Attack and Cobras, ending with On The Attack finishing on 14 while Cobras ended with 7. The match was marked by exceptional displays of sportsmanship, and despite different scores, both teams left the court with smiles on their faces, having thoroughly enjoyed the game.

The final game of the evening was between Seven Wonders and Spice Goals, which concluded with Seven Wonders on 17 and Spice Goals on 12. The game was a testament to the power of positive energy and teamwork. Every player's contribution was appreciated by both teams, making it a memorable match.

A special mention goes out to Michelle Rudge from Spice Goals, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Michelle's dynamic movements around the court and infectious enthusiasm were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the game epitomised the spirit of social netball.

Looking ahead, we eagerly await Week 9 and another evening of friendly social netball. As we move toward the final two weeks of matches, we invite anyone thinking about joining to come along and give social netball a try. It's more than a game; it's about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment.
