In the heart of Worcester, under the auspices of The King’s School, Week 7 of the social netball season unfolded on a delightful evening. With a warm, welcoming atmosphere, players of all experience levels came together to enjoy an engaging night of netball. The spirit of the games was unmistakable, with everyone focused on doing their best and enjoying each other's company on the court.
The first match saw the Toxic Goals and the Seven Wonders come together for a spirited game. The Toxic Goals finished with a tally of 21, while the Seven Wonders marked up 5. Tenacity, teamwork, and determination were the defining traits of the match. Both teams played with infectious energy and high levels of sportsmanship, making it an entertaining spectacle for all involved.
The second match of the evening featured On The Attack and the Rebounders. With a score of 12-6, On The Attack concluded the game on a high note. Despite the score line, it was an evenly matched contest with both sides showcasing commendable teamwork and commitment. The positive energy was palpable, and the game was played in a great spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect.
In the midst of these enjoyable games, it was Amy Carter from On The Attack who stood out as the Most Valued Player of the week. With her unflagging enthusiasm, agile movement around the court, and positive contribution to the game, Amy was a significant figure on the court. Her performance was appreciated not just by her teammates, but by opponents and spectators alike.
As we look ahead to Week 8, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball at The King's School. We look forward to athletes of all levels coming together once more, keeping active, meeting new people and developing their netball skills in our supportive environment.
