At The King's School last Sunday evening, the spirit of camaraderie was in the air as Week 6 of the social netball season unfolded. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with players of every skill level enjoying an evening of great sportsmanship and delightful netball camaraderie.
The first match involved the Rebounders and Seven Wonders. With the final score of 14-4 favouring Seven Wonders, the teams showcased the true essence of teamwork. Regardless of the score, both teams displayed commendable commitment and exuded positive energy throughout the match, making it an enjoyable game played in excellent spirit.
Next up, Cobras and Toxic Goals offered a spirited display of netball with Toxic Goals finishing the game on 17-5. Both sides equally demonstrated sportsmanship while playing, and it was clearly a game filled with enjoyment and played with great spirit.
The final match between On The Attack and Spice Goals ended with the former leading 12-7. The match was a testament to the unwavering dedication of the players and their love for the game. The energy was palpable, and the positive vibe engulfed the evening.
A special mention must go to the Most Valued Player of the week, Jenni Luke from Spice Goals. Jenni’s movement around the court was laudable and her enthusiastic approach to the game was felt by all. Her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, making her a standout player of the evening.
As we look forward to Week 7, we eagerly await another evening of friendly social netball. It’s not just about keeping active, it’s about meeting new people, developing netball skills, and being part of the supportive environment that our social nights are known for.
