Play in the Worcester Sunday You Play Netball League

What a fantastic and joyful evening it was at The King's School for the second week of social netball! Absolutely everyone, from beginners to seasoned players, was welcomed warmly into the vibrant atmosphere. All experience levels were represented on the court, making it a truly inclusive night of sport and camaraderie.

In the first game of the evening, the Cobras and the Rebounders demonstrated tremendous teamwork and commitment. The final score saw the Rebounders finish with 14 points to the Cobras' 11. Both sides played with great energy and sportsmanship, showing that netball is not just about the score, but the spirit in which the game is played.

On The Attack and Seven Wonders took to the court next, and they didn't disappoint. Embodying positive energy throughout, On The Attack ended the game with a tally of 15 points while Seven Wonders scored 5. The mutual respect between the teams was evident, and the game was enjoyed by all in attendance.

The final match of the evening saw Toxic Goals and Spice Goals putting their netball skills to the test. Toxic Goals finished the game with 22 points, while Spice Goals racked up a total of 5. Despite the final score, it was clear every player was enjoying the game, with high spirits and a lot of laughter on both sides.

A special mention must be made for the Most Valued Player of the week, Dominique Delord from Cobras. Dominique's enthusiasm and movement around the court did not go unnoticed, and her positive contributions were appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike. She truly embodied the heart and soul of social netball.

And so, we look ahead to Week 3, anticipating another evening of friendly social netball.
