The third week of the Worcester Sunday Night Netball brought an array of surprises and awe-inspiring moves.
Kicking off the action, Rebounders went toe-to-toe with Toxic Goals. Toxic Goals displayed their prowess with a 25-1 victory over the Rebounders. The Rebounders, despite the setback, showed resilience and are likely to bounce back stronger in the coming weeks.
Next on the court, we saw Spice Goals face off with the Cobras in a close-knit match. Though the Cobras slithered their way to victory with a final score of 12-8, the Spice Goals didn’t make it easy for them, giving their all in a game that was a lot more contested than the scoreline suggests.
Rounding off the night, On The Attack clashed with the Court Rebels. Displaying an array of skill and strategy, the Court Rebels secured a 23-6 win over On The Attack. However, the star highlight from the game, as well as the entire night, was Amelia Ferriday from On The Attack. Despite her team's loss, Ferriday played an exceptional game, earning her the most valued player of the week, proving that sometimes, individual brilliance can shine through even in team sports.
As we look forward to the next week, the anticipation is high, and the energy is palpable. Stay tuned for more thrilling action from the Worcester Sunday Night Netball!
