Worcester Sunday Netball Update 7th June

Week 8 of the Worcester Sunday Netball provided another fantastic evening of competitive netball, with teams continuing to showcase their skill, teamwork, and determination as the season enters its final stages.

One of the standout matches of the evening saw On The Attack and Cobras share the points in an exciting 14-14 draw. Both teams produced excellent performances, with strong defensive play and impressive attacking movement making for a closely contested and entertaining game throughout.

Toxic Goals enjoyed a successful outing against Rebounders, securing an 18-11 victory. Both teams demonstrated great commitment on court, with Toxic Goals making the most of their opportunities to earn a well-deserved result.

Seven Wonders also celebrated a positive result, overcoming Spice Goals 13-9 in another competitive fixture. The team worked hard throughout the match and were rewarded with the win after a strong all-round performance.

A special congratulations goes to Sarah Smith of Spice Goals, who was named Most Valuable Player of the Week. Despite the result, Sarah's excellent contribution, teamwork, and consistency throughout the match helped her side stay within touching distance and earned her the well-deserved recognition.

With just two weeks remaining in the season, there is still plenty to play for. Teams continue to build momentum and produce impressive performances each week, creating an exciting and enjoyable competition for players and supporters alike.
