Worcester Sunday Netball Update 25th January

In the thrilling world of netball, the Worcester Sunday season got off to an electrifying start this week with teams showcasing an impressive performance.

From the onset, Toxic Goals set the tone for the night, defeating Cobras 13-7. The team exhibited a solid team effort, displaying an excellent combination of offensive and defensive skills that left their competitors trailing.

However, the night belonged to On The Attack, who played against the Spice Goals and won with a 19-5 victory. From the first whistle, On The Attack stayed true to their name, maintaining an attacking strategy that Spice Goals could not withstand. This performance catapults them to the top of the leader board after their first week of play.

In what was possibly the most riveting match of the night, Seven Wonders narrowly edged Rebounders 8-7. The thrilling match had spectators on the edges of their seats.

Earning the honour of the Most Valued Player of the week was Michelle Rudge from Spice Goals. Despite her team's loss, Rudge shone brightly on the court, showcasing her versatile skills and contributing significantly to her team's efforts.

This week's results have set an exciting precedent for the rest of the season. As teams prepare for the coming week, they'll be aiming to topple On The Attack from their early perch at the top, while also keeping an eye on the impressive skills of players like Michelle Rudge.
