It was an engaging week of action in the Worcester Sunday Netball, marking the midway point of the season with a series of closely contested matches.
One of the tightest games of the week saw Seven Wonders narrowly overcome Cobras in a thrilling 10–9 victory. Cobras delivered a strong performance, with Nel Nikam standing out for her excellent defensive work and sharp game awareness. Her contribution was recognised as she was named Most Valued Player of the week, playing a key role in keeping the contest so competitive.
Rebounders produced a confident display against Spice Goals, securing a 13–6 win and improving their position in the standings. In another fixture, On The Attack were defeated 17–10 by Toxic Goals. Although On The Attack started well, Toxic Goals maintained steady pressure and capitalised on their attacking opportunities to take the result.
As the season moves into its second half, the competition continues to build, with teams pushing to climb the table. With players performing consistently well and matches proving to be closely fought, there is plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.
