Worcester Sunday Netball Update 1st March

In Worcester’s busy sporting calendar, week six of the Worcester Sunday netball brought an evening of competitive and well-played matches. Teams took to the court with enthusiasm, demonstrating skill, teamwork, and determination throughout.

Seven Wonders recorded a 19–2 victory over Rebounders. Seven Wonders combined effective teamwork with confident finishing to secure the result, while Rebounders continued to show commitment throughout.

On The Attack met Spice Goals in another engaging fixture, with On The Attack securing a 15–8 win. Their steady defence and consistent shooting helped them build and maintain their advantage.

In the final match of the evening, Cobras faced Toxic Goals in a lively contest. Despite their efforts, Cobras were defeated 17–7 by a well-organised Toxic Goals side. Helen Stavert of the Cobras delivered a particularly strong performance and was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her agility, composure, and accuracy were clear highlights and a positive takeaway for her team.

Overall, week six reflected the continued effort and talent on display across the competition. As the season progresses, teams will be looking to build on their performances and continue developing in the weeks ahead.
