The opening week of the Worcester Sunday Netball brought a great start to the season, with teams taking to the court with enthusiasm and plenty of team spirit.
Toxic Goals kicked things off with a closely contested match against Cobras, coming away with a 13–10 win. Both teams showed strong teamwork and movement, making it an enjoyable game to watch from start to finish.
On The Attack put in a great performance against Spice Goals, securing a 22–6 victory. Their organisation and teamwork helped them settle into the game well, while Spice Goals continued to work hard and showed great determination throughout.
Seven Wonders also had a positive start to their season, winning 8–4 against Rebounders. It was a well-fought match, with both teams competing strongly and showing plenty of effort on court.
A special mention goes to Jenni Luke from Spice Goals, who was named Most Valued Player for the week. Her skill, resilience, and all-round play made a real impact and stood out across the division.
As the night moves into week two, there’s already a great sense of momentum building. With all teams showing commitment and positivity, the season is shaping up to be an enjoyable and competitive one.
