Worcester Sunday Netball Update 11th January

In a thrilling week of the Worcester Sunday Netball League, we saw fierce competition as teams battled it out on the court. The week witnessed some nail-biting action, with each team giving their all in the quest for victory.

The Cobras clashed with the Rebounders in a high-stakes game, with the latter team emerging victorious with a 13-6 win, demonstrating their powerful performance and agility on the court. Their strategic play and teamwork were key in this intensely fought match.

Next on the court, the spice Goals went head-to-head with On The Attack in a breathless game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. The Spice Goals had to dig deep for their 11-10 victory which came down to the wire in an absolute thriller. This match is sure to go down in the nights history as one of the closest games ever played.

The Toxic Goals had a tough match against the Court Rebels. Despite their best efforts, the Toxic Goals were defeated 13-6 by the Rebels. The latter's quick reflexes and sharp shooting proved to be too much for the Toxic Goals who fought hard but couldn't quite match their opponents' scoring prowess.

The standout player of the week was Lizzie Carless from On The Attack. Despite the team's narrow loss, Carless's outstanding performance was a highlight of the match. Her exceptional skills, agility and strategic play contributed significantly to the high stakes game and earned her the title of the most valued player of the week.

As we head into the final week of this season, it's clear that the competition is heating up. A fantastic display of athleticism, strategy, and teamwork from all teams has set the stage for an exciting conclusion to the season.
