In a thrilling conclusion to the Worcester Sunday Social Netball, Team Emeralds captured the championship crown this week. This marked the finale of the 14-week season, graced by exhilarating games, and top-notch performances from the participating teams.

Exhibiting unmatched teamwork and skill, Emeralds outplayed Court Rebels with a score of 17 to 9. The team's victory was marked by precision passing, fast-paced attacks, and a stubborn defence. 

Also taking to the court, On The Attack and Cobras gave spectators an exciting game, with On The Attack edging the Cobras 9 to 7 in a closely contested match. Rebounders and Toxic Goals' game ended with Toxic Goals outscoring Rebounders 9 to 6.

Spice Goals faced a tough game against Rockets, who emerged victorious with an score of 16 to 5. Despite their defeat, Spice Goals' player, Jenni Luke, was named the Most Valued Player of the week, an honour well-deserved for her exceptional performance throughout the season.

With the end of this season, the participating teams have displayed remarkable sportsmanship and skill on the court. The Worcester Sunday Netball league has once again proven to be a breeding ground for incredible talent and exciting competition. Fans are eagerly awaiting the next season, and if it’s anything like this one, they’re in for a treat. Congratulations to all the teams, and especially to our champions, Team Emeralds.
