Play in the Pershore Wednesday social netball league

Last Wednesday evening at Pershore High School, Week 6 of the season saw an atmosphere full of camaraderie, excitement and netball. Players of all different levels came together showcasing their skills and enjoying a wonderful evening of social netball. The welcoming, inclusive environment set the tone for the night, where the essence of the game was truly about participation, teamwork and having fun.

The first match of the evening was a lively encounter between Hooper's and Pocket Rockets. The game concluded with Hooper's tallying 16 points to Pocket Rockets' 12. It was a match played with an abundance of positive energy, where both teams demonstrated a commendable level of commitment and sportsmanship. The spirit of the game was perfectly encapsulated, highlighting why we all love social netball.

The second match introduced us to the dynamic Killer Queens and the vibrant Pershore Pic N Mix. Pershore Pic N Mix finished the game with 14 points, while the Killer Queens gathered 11. The scale of enjoyment was equivalent on both sides, with players showcasing their talent and teamwork. The laughter and encouragement on the court were truly heartening, making the game an absolute pleasure to witness.

This week's Most Valued Player was Charlotte Barry from Pivoting Diva's. Charlotte brought an infectious enthusiasm to the court. Her impressive movement around the court and positive engagement did not go unnoticed. Charlotte's contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, demonstrating the true spirit of social netball.
