Welcome to our weekly summary of friendly social netball at Pershore High School! Week 5 of our vibrant season unfolded, bringing together a cheerful mix of players from all skill levels and backgrounds for a delightful evening of sport. The atmosphere, as usual, was positively electric, with a strong sense of camaraderie and shared enjoyment that characterises our netball community.

Firstly, we had the Pershore Pic N Mix and Hooper's exhibiting a thrilling match. The game concluded with Pershore Pic N Mix coming out on top with a close score of 17-16. The teams displayed an impressive level of teamwork and commitment, with both sides displaying great spirit. There was a shared sense of pride and satisfaction surrounding the court, as the game was an enjoyable celebration of sportsmanship and positive energy.

Next, we had the Pivoting Diva's and Killer Queens. The Pivoting Diva's were successful in their match, ending the game with a score of 23-12. The match was a testament to the vibrant energy, dedication, and good-natured competition that is so prevalent in our netball community. Both teams played with a sense of enjoyment and camaraderie, proving once again that netball is not just about the score, but the shared experience.

This week, we're delighted to give a special mention to Lily Cornelius, from the Pivoting Diva's. Recognised as our Most Valued Player, Lily's lively enthusiasm and nimble movements around the court were greatly appreciated by both her teammates and opponents. Her positive contribution to the match was undeniable, adding to the overall celebratory spirit of the evening.

Looking ahead, we're eagerly anticipating Week 6, promising another evening of friendly social netball. We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces alike, as we continue to foster an environment that encourages staying active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills. Remember, our netball community is all about participation, sport spirit and most importantly, fun! So, lace up those trainers and we'll see you on the court next week!
