Pershore Wednesday Night Netball Update 3rd September
In the heart of the Pershore Wednesday Night Netball, week 5 served up a fantastic spectacle of talent, sweat, and unbreakable spirit.
In the first game, Diva's played Pocket Rockets and won 28-18 demonstrating their ball handling and precision passes. However, the tenacious Rockets showcased their resilience until the final whistle.
Next up, Pivots squared off against Hooper's in a pulsating game that had spectators on the edge of their seats. Pivots, with their nimble footwork and lightning quick passes, outplayed Hooper's to secure a 24-12 victory. The Hooper's, however, displayed a commendable spirit, offering their opponents relentless pressure throughout the match.
One of the tightest games of the night was Pershore Pic N Mix versus Killer Queens. Both teams put up a spirited fight, but the Killer Queens edged out their foes with a slim 17-15 victory. The match exhibited a masterclass in strategic play and defensive resilience from both sides, keeping fans engrossed till the last second.
As we reach week 5 of the season, it's clear that the Pershore Wednesday Night Netball League is shaping up to be a an exciting contest. While the top scorers for each team were not disclosed, their collective efforts contributed towards an electrifying evening of netball.
