Pershore Wednesday Netball Update 28th January

In an electrifying evening of intense competition, the Pershore Wednesday Netball concluded its third week with some dramatic results.

The Pivots showcased an impressive performance, outscoring Diva's with a 24-16 victory. Demonstrating a potent combination of precision and agility, the Pivots dominated the game from the start.

Meanwhile, the Pershore Pic N Mix team also notched up a win over the Pocket Rockets, with a 16-8 score line. The Pic N Mix team's on-court chemistry was evident, as they successfully stopped the formidable Pocket Rockets. This win is sure to cement their confidence and morale as they move into the following weeks of the season.

But it was the Hooper's who emerged as the standout performers of the week against the Killer Queens with a score of 18-5 in a display of stellar offense and disciplined defence. The team's rhythm and synchronisation were in full display.

However, the highlight of the week was the exceptional performance of Holly Radbourne from the Pocket Rockets. Her impressive skills and unwavering determination have earned her the title of the 'Most Valued Player' this week. Despite the team's loss, Holly's contribution was a silver lining, keeping the score respectable against the Pic N Mix.

As the season progresses, the teams continue to vie for glory. Though the winners are celebrated, it is the spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie and the love of the game that truly triumphs. Stay tuned for next week’s games.
