Pershore Wednesday Netball Update 25th March
It was another enjoyable evening of netball in the Pershore Wednesday netball, with teams taking to the court for week 9 of the season. Matches were competitive throughout, with plenty of positive performances on display.
One of the key fixtures saw Diva’s face Pocket Rockets, with Diva’s coming away with a 17–12 win. Both teams showed good attacking movement and defensive effort, making it a well-contested game from start to finish.
Pivots also had a strong outing against Hooper’s, securing a 19–14 victory. Their organised approach and consistent play helped them maintain an edge, earning them a well-deserved result.
Killer Queens met Pershore Pic N Mix in another closely fought match. Despite a determined effort from Killer Queens, Pershore Pic N Mix took the win 19–11, demonstrating solid teamwork and composure throughout.
Among the individual performances, Winnie Smith of Pocket Rockets stood out this week. Her energy, determination, and awareness on court made a real impact, earning her Player of the Week recognition.
As the season continues, results like these will help shape the table. Teams will be looking to build on their performances and carry momentum into the final week, setting up more competitive and enjoyable matches ahead.
