Pershore Wednesday Netball Update 25th February

In the Pershore Wednesday Netball teams went head-to-head in an exciting week six set of matches. The games highlighted impressive skill, strong teamwork, and great determination from all involved.

The first match of the evening saw Pivots take on the Pocket Rockets. In a competitive encounter, Pivots finished ahead with a score of 20–14, though both sides showed great commitment and teamwork.

Pershore Pic N Mix also met Hooper’s in an entertaining game. Pershore Pic N Mix came away with a 22–14 victory, demonstrating consistent attacking play. Hooper’s battled well and kept the pressure on, contributing to an enjoyable contest.

The Killer Queens faced the Diva’s in a well-contested match. The Diva’s secured a 16–9 win after maintaining a steady lead throughout. The Killer Queens showed plenty of spirit and worked hard until the final whistle.

A special mention goes to Jo Turner from Pocket Rockets, whose agile movement earned her recognition as player of the week. Her performance was a positive highlight and reflected the determination shown by her team.

As we look ahead to the next fixtures, teams will be aiming to build on their performances and continue developing their play. The Pershore Wednesday Netball remains a great showcase of local talent and sportsmanship, and we look forward to more enjoyable matches ahead.
