Another thrilling week of netball concluded on Wednesday in the heart of Pershore, with some electrifying performances in the second week of the season. The games witnessed some high-intensity clashes, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats.
In an emphatic show of skill and teamwork, Diva's dominated the court against the Killer Queens, with a 33-4 victory.
Meanwhile, Pershore Pic N Mix showed their mettle against Hooper's, pulling off a 18-9 win. Despite the loss, Hooper's had a shining beacon in the form of Jess Lee. Lee's outstanding play and on-court leadership were a true spectacle to behold. Consequently, she was crowned the week's most valued player, a well-deserved honour for the star of Hooper's.
In another closely fought contest, Pivots emerged victorious against the Pocket Rockets with a score of 16-21. This victory reflected the sheer determination and sportsmanship the Pivots demonstrated throughout the game.
These games have set the stage for some exciting upcoming matches in the Pershore Wednesday netball. With the bar set high, the teams in will have to bring their A-games in the forthcoming weeks.
