Pershore Wednesday Netball Update 15th October

Excitement filled the air at the Pershore Wednesday Netball seasons opening night as teams went head to head. The inaugural matches signaled the beginning of an enthralling new season that promises great competition and skillful play.

Pershore’s very own Pivots and Pershore Pic N Mix demonstrated maximum intensity on the court, triumphing over their respective opponents. Displaying a brilliant mix of agility and accuracy, the Pivots dominated the court with a 20-6 victory over Hooper's. 

Meanwhile, in another thrilling encounter, Pershore Pic N Mix showcased their strategic prowess and invincible defense, ending the match with an 18-6 score against the Killer Queens. 

Despite the loss, the Killer Queens had their share of the spotlight as Rachel Higgins emerged as the night's Most Valued Player (MVP). The accolade was a well-deserved recognition of Higgins' relentless resilience and exceptional performance on the court. Her versatility and ability to outmaneuver her opponents have set a high standard for the rest of the season. 

Being the first week of the season, anticipation is building as teams. Future matches are sure to bring more excitement as teams vie for the top spot and players like Rachel Higgins continue to push the boundaries of the game. The Pershore Wednesday Netball season has indeed kicked off with a promising start, setting the stage for a thrilling season of netball action.
