In a thrilling start to the season, the Pershore Wednesday Netball League kicked off last night with a straightaway blitz of spectacular games in the League.

The night saw some fierce competition among the teams as they raced to take an early lead in the league standings. In one of the most riveting matches, Pivots outshined Diva's with a 24-10 victory. Molly Hughes, the ace player from Diva's, despite the team's result, exhibited an extraordinary performance and was deservedly crowned the most valued player of the week. Hughes showcased her skills brilliantly and was undeniably the star player on the court.

Meanwhile, Pocket Rockets launched their season with a bang, taking on Pershore Pic N Mix with a score of 26-13. Pocket Rockets, with their swift passes and tight defense, showed that they are a force to be reckoned with this season.

The league also saw a nail-biting face-off between Hooper's and Killer Queens, with the latter pulling off a narrow victory of 12-10. The match kept everyone on the edge of their seats as both teams fought hard till the last whistle, demonstrating the tenacity and fierce competition that is characteristic of the League.
