On a wonderful Tuesday evening at Oakengates Leisure Centre, Week 8 of the social netball season was in full swing. The atmosphere was one of warmth and camaraderie, with players of all skill levels taking to the court for an enjoyable night of netball.

The first match of the evening saw Spice Goals and Wrekin Warriors engaging in a dynamic display of teamwork and sportsmanship. The final whistle saw the Wrekin Warriors tallying 25 points to Spice Goals' 4. Both teams exhibited an admirable level of commitment, and it was clear that the match was played in great spirit.

The second match featured She's A Keeper and Swift Shooters. In a closely contested game, Swift Shooters finished on top with 10 points to She's A Keeper's 8. The match was rich in positive energy, with both teams demonstrating a great deal of enjoyment on the court.

Just Wing It and Nets Get Physical wrapped up the evening with a spirited display of netball. Nets Get Physical accumulated 17 points to Just Wing It's 8. The teams radiated a wonderful camaraderie, contributing to an enjoyable game for both players and spectators.

A special mention goes to Most Valued Player of the week, Zara Stewart from Just Wing It. Her enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contribution to the game were acknowledged and appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

Looking ahead to Week 9, we're excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It's more than just a game - it's about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
