The seventh week of the season brought another delightful evening of social netball to the Oakengates Leisure Centre. As always, the atmosphere was cheery and inclusive, welcoming players of all experience levels to revel in the joy of netball. The spirit of camaraderie filled the air, demonstrating that the game is not just about the score but rather the shared love for the sport.

The first match saw She’s A Keeper share the court with Just Wing It. The game ended in good spirits with Just Wing It finishing on 16 points to She's A Keeper's 7. There was evidence of brilliant teamwork and commitment from both sides, making for a thrilling watch.

Next, Wrekin Warriors played against Hoop Hustlers, a match that was overflowing with sportsmanship and positive energy. Hoop Hustlers registered a score of 21 against Wrekin Warriors' 9. Irrespective of the scoreline, both teams showcased an equal commitment to friendliness and fair play.

The game between Love At First Pass and Swift Shooters was another celebration of the social sport. Love At First Pass recorded 21 points, while Swift Shooters finished with 8. Both teams displayed great spirit and camaraderie throughout the match, leaving smiles on everyone's faces.

Our final match of the night involved Spice Goals and Nets Get Physical. Spice Goals scored 5 points, and Nets Get Physical scored 22. Despite the final score, the game was played in great spirit, with both teams exemplifying positive energy and sportsmanship.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of the Most Valued Player - Tilly Hardiman from Spice Goals. On and off the court, Tilly's enthusiasm, energy, and positive contribution did not go unnoticed. Her game play was admired by teammates and opponents alike, making her an invaluable asset to the evening's success.

As we look forward to Week 8, we're excited to continue providing an environment where everyone can stay active, meet new people, and enhance their netball skills in a friendly and supportive setting. We are all eager to welcome back our players to another evening of social netball, where the focus is on fun, fitness, and fostering a sense of community.
