A delightful evening unfolded at Oakengates Leisure Centre this past Tuesday as Week 4 of our social netball season got underway. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with participants of all skill levels sharing in the camaraderie and sheer joy of the game. It was a true testament to the love for netball in our community, with great emphasis on inclusion, sportsmanship, and above all, fun!

The first game saw the Hoop Hustlers and Just Wing It engage in a friendly yet exciting contest. The game concluded with Just Wing It finishing with a score of 10-8. The match showcased commendable teamwork from both sides and a highly energetic performance that was infectious.

Next up, She's A Keeper met Nets Get Physical on the court. With a final score of 18-7 in favor of Nets Get Physical, both teams displayed incredible commitment to every pass and shot. Their collective sportsmanship was commendable, and the game was played in the best spirit of social netball.

Spice Goals and Swift Shooters squared off in the third match of the evening. Swift Shooters completed the game with a score of 11-5. The game was a wonderful display of positive energy and sportsmanship, with both teams thoroughly enjoying the friendly competition.

The final game pitted Love At First Pass against Wrekin Warriors. Love At First Pass edged out a thrilling 11-10 win, but the most remarkable feature of the match was the superb team spirit and enjoyment shared by all on the court.

Our Most Valued Player of the week was the unstoppable Alice Gallon from She's A Keeper. Alice's enthusiasm and movement around the court were a sight to behold. Her positivity and contribution were celebrated by teammates and opponents alike, further enriching the communal spirit of the evening.

As we look forward to Week 5, we are excited for another evening of friendly social netball. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and further develop our netball skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Here's to another week of Back to Netball, where the love of the game and the joy of participation reign supreme!
