The Oakengates Leisure Centre buzzed with camaraderie and vitality as the lights turned on for another round of social netball. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Week 3 of the season commenced, with players of all ability levels gathering for an evening of fun, fitness, and friendship. The atmosphere was electric, with laughter echoing around the court as teams warmed up, ready to enjoy a night of netball.

Kicking off the first match were the Wrekin Warriors and Swift Shooters, where they played a lively game that was a testament to their teamwork and commitment. Swift Shooters finished the game with a score of 15-12, much to their delight. But score aside, both teams reveled in the excitement of the game, showcasing impressive sportsmanship and positivity.

Next, Hoop Hustlers and She's A Keeper took to the court. Despite the 12-5 score in favor of She's A Keeper, both teams exemplified what social netball is all about - an enjoyable game played in great spirits. Their energetic performance was infectious, spreading smiles and laughter across the court.

Spice Goals and Just Wing It were up next, with Just Wing It finishing at 19-4. The highlight was not the score, but the teamwork, commitment, and positive energy radiating from both teams. Lastly, Love At First Pass and Nets Get Physical rounded off the evening with Nets Get Physical scoring 28-4. Both teams showed the power of good teamwork and sportsmanship, and their games were a pleasure to watch.

Making waves this week was Megan Lay from Swift Shooters who bagged the title of Most Valued Player. Her enthusiasm was infectious, her movement around the court fluid, and her positive contribution was appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike. Megan's effort was the epitome of the spirit of social netball: friendly, supportive, and always played with a smile.
