On a lovely evening at Oakengates Leisure Centre, Week 2 of the netball season was buzzing with enthusiastic players and supporters, all eager to enjoy another week of friendly social netball. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a shared love for the game. Players of all experience levels took to the court with smiles and high spirits, showcasing their skills and celebrating the joy of the game.

The match between Love At First Pass and She’s A Keeper was a display of great teamwork and energy. She’s A Keeper ended the game with an impressive 16 points, while Love At First Pass added 7 points to the board. Both teams played with immense commitment and the game was enjoyed by all.

Next up, Hoop Hustlers and Spice Goals put on a riveting display of netball. The game ended with a close score of 6-5 in favour of Hoop Hustlers. The teams encouraged each other throughout, creating a sense of unity even in competition.

Swift Shooters and Nets Get Physical took to the court next, finishing their game with Nets Get Physical securing 26 points and Swift Shooters gaining 6 points. The positive energy from both teams was infectious, making for an enjoyable and spirited game.

In the final game of the evening, Wrekin Warriors and Just Wing It gave a stunning performance. Wrekin Warriors edged out their close game with a score of 12-11. The game was filled with sportsmanship and respect, reflecting the true spirit of social netball.

The Most Valued Player of the week was awarded to Emmie Bradley from Love At First Pass. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were admired by all. Her positive contribution to the game was greatly appreciated by both her teammates and opponents alike.
