Play in the Telford Tuesday you play netball league

What a delightful evening it was for all at Oakengates Leisure Centre for Week 11 of our social netball season! The atmosphere was inviting, with players of all experience levels coming together to celebrate a fantastic night of netball. The energy was contagious, and the air was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the spirit of the sport.

Our first match saw the Swift Shooters and Nets Get Physical bring their best game forward, ending with Nets Get Physical finishing with a score of 12-4. The teams showcased an impressive display of teamwork and commitment, with every player bringing an air of positivity and sportsmanship to the game.

In the second match of the evening, the Hoop Hustlers and Love At First Pass took to the court. Hoop Hustlers completed the game with a score of 13-7. Although the numbers favoured Hoop Hustlers, both teams played a spirited game, that was a joy to watch.

The third match between Wrekin Warriors and Just Wing It concluded with Just Wing It scoring 12 to Wrekin Warriors' 6. Despite the result, the game was, above all, a testament to the great sportsmanship and positive energy exhibited by both teams.

Our last game of the evening saw Spice Goals face off against She’s A Keeper. She's A Keeper finished the game with a score of 18-7. Despite the final scores, the game was played with tremendous spirit, and it was clear that all players thoroughly enjoyed it.

A special mention goes out to our Most Valued Player of the week, Marie Trahearn from Spice Goals. Her tireless enthusiasm and incredible movement around the court not only caught our attention but also made a positive contribution that was appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 12, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. This welcoming community provides an excellent opportunity to keep active, meet new people, and continue developing netball skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment. We can’t wait to see what the next week brings! Remember, Back to Netball isn’t just about the score, it’s about the joy of the game.
