Telford Tuesday Night Netball - Week 5

In an evening of intense competition, week 5 of the Telford Tuesday 7 a side Netball Division delivered its fair share of excitement, showing the true mettle of the players and their determination to rise to the top.

In the division, Just Wing It soared to victory against Swift Shooters, securing a 10-5 win, demonstrating their strategic prowess and athletic ability. Swift Shooters should not be underestimated though; they put up a strong fight, showcasing their potential for future games.

Meanwhile, Jammie Dodgers faced a challenging game against Nets Get Physical, who took the lead early on and held onto it, finishing the match with a commanding 18-7 win. The strategic gameplay and teamwork of Nets Get Physical were commendable, proving them to be a formidable force in the division.

In perhaps the most thrilling match of the night, Phoenix and Hoop Hustlers locked horns in a fierce bout. Both teams were evenly matched and played with great intensity, resulting in a nail-biting 9-9 draw.

The star player of the week was the outstanding Charlotte Williams from Phoenix, who exhibited exceptional skills, agility, and leadership on the court. Her energy and tactical brilliance were crucial to her team, earning her the much-deserved title of 'Most Valued Player.'
