Telford Tuesday Night Netball - Week 5

An array of upsets and high-spirited matchups marked week 5 of the Telford Tuesday Netball League, as teams clashed in their quest for the win. 

In a nail-biting encounter, Swift Shooters pulled off a 7-5 victory over Just Wing It. The Swift Shooters showcased a robust defensive game, thwarting Just Wing It’s efforts throughout the match. Another great win of the evening came from She's A Keeper against Goal Getters finishing 17-7. The highest scoring game of the night was Jammie Dodgers against Nets Get Physical. Despite an earnest effort, Jammie Dodgers were outscored by Nets Get Physical, with the final tally reading 21-3 in favour of the latter. Meanwhile, Phoenix and Hoop Hustlers staged a close fight, with Phoenix narrowly escaping with a 9-8 victory. 

The star of the week was undoubtedly Sophie Elliott of Jammie Dodgers. Despite her team's loss, Sophie's exceptional performance earned her the title of the most valued player. 

There's no denying that week 5 of the Telford Tuesday Netball League provided a captivating display of netball talent. As teams continue to battle for the win, players can expect more thrilling and unpredictable action in the upcoming weeks.
