Telford Tuesday Night Netball - Week 4

The Telford Tuesday  Netball league, now in its fourth week, lived up to its reputation for thrilling competition last night, particularly in the division. Teams gave fans an unforgettable spectacle, proving that the spirit of netball is alive and kicking in Telford.

In a nail-biting showdown, Swift Shooters edged past Phoenix in a game that saw them emerge victorious with a narrow 11-10 win. The game was a testament to both teams' defensive skills and impeccable coordination, but it was the Shooters' resilience that handed them the victory.

Meanwhile, the Jammie Dodgers showcased their offensive prowess over Hoop Hustlers with a comfortable 10-4 win, proving their dominance in the division. The Hustlers, despite their loss, were commended for their spirited performance.

However, the most intense game of the night was between Nets Get Physical and She's a Keeper. The relentless back-and-forth ended in a four-point advantage in favor of Nets Get Physical, who secured a 16-12 victory. The high-scoring game demonstrated the offensive skills of both teams, making it a memorable encounter.

Among the individual performances, Anisah Lokat from Just Wing It was recognized as the most valued player of the week. Lokat’s exceptional play-making skills and strategic brilliance were instrumental in many games, earning her widespread acclaim.

As we head into the fifth week, the  division remains highly competitive. The top scorers from each team continue to raise the bar, promising more netball action in the coming weeks. For now, fans are left in awe of the spectacle that was week four of the Telford Tuesday Netball League.
